Borrowing Authority from Death / Amitis Motevalli / 2014

“Borrowing Authority from Death” is a ritual healing and performance by Iranian-born, Los Angeles-based, multidisciplinary artist and activist Amitis Motevalli marking the 20 year anniversary of the physical start of the War on Terror. Guests joined Amitis for a reflective walk beginning at The Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art to Battery Park and the 9/11 monument.
